So here we are.
Four TH18 Attack Strategies we keep going back to. War. CWL. Legends. Doesn’t matter.

Let’s break them down.

🐉 Dragon Riders + Totem Spam (Air But Make It Smart)

We didn’t expect this one to feel this clean. But it does.

The idea is simple:
Clear key Air Defenses with heroes → send Dragon Riders straight through the core → let Totems tank everything like unpaid interns.

We usually:

  • Send Queen to grab one Air Defense

  • Royal Champ grabs the other side

  • Drop Riders through the middle

  • Overgrowth one nasty defense (Fire Spitter or Bomb Hive)

The Totems? They’re not decoration.
They tank for your Minion Prince. They stall the Monolith. They buy time.

And once the Warden ability hits?
The base just… melts. Slowly. Then all at once.

To be fair, if pathing is bad, it looks awful.
But when it works? It feels illegal.

☄️ Meteor Golems (Yes, Even After the Nerf)

Everyone panicked when they got nerfed.

We tried them anyway.

Still broken.

Here’s why: defenses also got tuned. So it kind of balances out. Meteor Golems still march through the core like they pay rent there.

Typical flow:

  • Giant Arrow early value (Monolith if possible)

  • Log Launcher straight through center

  • Quake the high-value defense

The key is reinforcement timing.
Send Royal Champ with support. Don’t let your push dry out mid-core.

This is probably the most brain-off army in the meta.

And we kind of love it.

You literally:

  • Spam Throwers on one side

  • Healers behind

  • Log Launcher toward Town Hall

  • King + Queen funnel edges

  • Totems everywhere like confetti

That’s it.

The damage stacks fast. And if the funnel is clean?
It snowballs hard.

We once dropped them at 3 o’clock. Then 12 o’clock next war. Same result. Triple.

Is it elegant? Not really.
Does it work? Painfully well.

Just don’t ignore high-damage compartments. Overgrowth those. Be slightly responsible.

E-Drags feel like the “I’m tired” army.

But at TH18? With Totems?

They slap.
