Wait… Ranked Mode Just Changed Again?
We’ll be honest.
We were just getting used to Legend League… and boom, Supercell said “Yeah let’s tweak everything again.”
But this time?
It’s not annoying. It’s actually… kinda smart.
This update is less “new feature” and more “fixing stuff that low-key sucked for months.”
And yeah, we complained about some of those things too. Loudly.
Legend League Now Has 3 Tiers 👀
So here’s the big shift. Legend League isn’t one sweaty bucket anymore.
Now we’ve got:

Legend 1
-
Legend 2
-
Legend 3

Same star bonus. Same league bonus.
Different pain levels (battle modifiers).
That’s the key.
Earlier, pushing to Legend meant you had to deal with brutal modifiers. No choice.
Now? We can chill in a lower tier and still get max rewards.
Honestly… this is how it should’ve been from day one.
Weekly vs Daily Attacks (This One’s Interesting)
This is where it gets spicy.

Legend 1 → still daily attacks (8 per day, like current system)

Legend 2 & 3 → weekly tournaments (30 / 24 attacks per week)
We’re not fully sold on this.
On one hand:

More flexibility

No “log in every single day or die” pressure
On the other hand:

We know ourselves… we’ll procrastinate all week and then spam 20 attacks on Sunday like absolute goblins
So yeah. Freedom is nice.
Self-control? Not guaranteed.
Migration Week — Your Placement Matters
This part actually matters more than people think.
There’s a one-time placement week.
Your performance here decides where you start:

Top players → Legend 1

Mid → Legend 2
-
Rest → Legend 3
Mess this up… and you’re climbing for weeks.

Less Grind + 4-Week Decay Change
Finally. A real quality-of-life upgrade.
Two big changes:
1. Fewer required attacks
You won’t need to grind as much in ranked anymore.
Good for humans. Bad for no-lifers (respectfully).
2. 4-week inactivity decay
Earlier: miss 1 week → bye bye trophies
Now: you get 4 weeks before decay even starts
And even after that?
You drop slowly. Not instantly.
This is huge.
We can actually touch grass without getting punished.
Wild concept.
What This Actually Means for Us
Let’s keep it simple.

Casual players → finally get Legend rewards without sweating every attack

Competitive players → get a proper skill ladder (Legend 1 is basically more like esports mode now)

Everyone → less grind, more control
But here’s the small catch…
Reducing attacks sounds great.
Until you realize you run out of things to do.
We kinda want less grind…
but also more gameplay?
Yeah. That contradiction is real.
So… Should We Push to Legend Now or Chill?
If we care about ranked even a little…
Push during migration week.
That’s the cheat code.
Start high → suffer less later.
If not?
Honestly, sitting in Legend 2 or 3 with max rewards sounds like a dream.
No stress.
No rage quits.
Just vibes and star bonus.
And let’s be real…
Most of us aren’t chasing top 10K anyway.
