There are three common approaches:
- Max all heroes. Straightforward, but slow — generally not recommended if speed matters to you.
- Skip heroes entirely and lean on Hero Potions during wars, CWL, and league attacks instead. This is the fastest path, though you'll get weaker value out of any Book of Heroes you use later.
