Hey Chief!
The first sneak peek for the April 2026 update is here, and it is packed with new levels for nearly every aspect of your home village. Here is the breakdown of what you can expect to upgrade first.
New Defense & Trap Levels

High-level players have new targets for their gold. A major addition is the ability to build a second Air Bomb to help counter air-heavy metas.
| Defense / Trap | New Level | Key Stat Increase |
|---|---|---|
| X-Bow | Level 13 | Increased HP and Damage |
| Scattershot | Level 7 | +5 Damage Per Second |
| Giant Bomb | Level 12 | +15 Damage; +0.2 tile radius |
| Air Bomb | Level 13 | +1 Extra Air Bomb slot available |
| Walls | Level 19 | 75 more pieces upgradeable (275 total) |
Army Capacity & Building Upgrades
Offense is getting a significant boost. For the first time, Army Camps are receiving an upgrade that provides +3 capacity per camp (rather than the usual +5), bringing the maximum troop capacity to 352.
- Army Camp (Level 14): Priority upgrade for offensive power.
- Siege Workshop (Level 9): Required to unlock the upcoming new Siege Machine.

The New Supercharge Levels
Supercharging continues to expand. It is recommended to upgrade damage-based supercharges (Level 1) across all buildings before focusing on HP-based supercharges (Level 2).
- Revenge Tower: +28 DPS (Level 1).
- Fire Spitter: Significant damage impact.
- Inferno Tower: +200 damage on single mode; +10 on multi mode.
- Hidden Tesla & Mortar: Minor damage increases.
Laboratory Upgrades: Troops & Spells
The Laboratory will be busy with 10 troops and 6 spells receiving new levels. If you use Super Troops, note that they automatically receive these level increases if their base troop is upgraded.
Troop Level Increases:
- Air Support: Balloon (Level 13) and Dragon (Level 13).
- Ground Power: Root Rider (Level 4), Valkyrie (Level 12), and Golem (Level 15—receiving a massive +1,000 HP).
- Support: Headhunter (Level 4) and Druid (Level 6).
- Farming: Goblin (Level 10) for more efficient Sneaky Goblin raids.
Spell Level Increases:
- Rage (Level 7): +10% damage and +2 speed increase.
- Freeze (Level 8): +0.5 seconds duration.
- Others: Clone (Level 9), Recall (Level 7), Overgrowth (Level 5), and Ice Block (Level 6).
Siege Machine Level Increases
Four popular Siege Machines are moving to Level 6, each receiving HP and damage buffs.
- Battle Blimp: +500 HP; +60 damage.
- Siege Barracks: +300 HP; +1 extra Wizard.
- Log Launcher: +300 HP; +10 DPS; +0.2 seconds lifespan.
- Battle Drill: Standard HP and damage increases.
Quality of Life & Gameplay Changes
Two long-requested features are finally arriving in this update:
- Heroes While Upgrading: You can now use your Heroes and Pets in Friendly Challenges and Friendly Wars even while they are being upgraded.
- Custom Projectiles: If you own an Archer Queen skin that changes her arrow visual (like the Frozen Arrow), you can now toggle and select your preferred projectile visual in the skin selection screen.
- Poison vs. Guardians: Poison spells have been re-enabled to affect Guardians, dealing full damage but with a reduced (70%) speed/attack debuff.
That's it for Sneak Peek #1.
