Smart Core = Dumb Attacker Moments

The infernos? All tucked right in the heart with a tornado trap just before them.
Royal Champion charges? Yeah, good luck — she’s walking straight into fire spitter coverage and hero aggro. Even with recalls or invis spells, most RC walks end up taking the scenic route through trap city.

Oh, and if you thought you’d just giant arrow the queen or snipe sweepers — the angles are set so you have to tank way too much damage to get there. It’s basically a “pick your poison” problem.

Sneaky Outside Damage

This is the underrated part. Everyone assumes: kill the core, win the base. Not here.
Pekkachu left just enough splash, point defenses, and Tesla farms on the outskirts so the cleanup phase turns into a slow painful crawl. Time fails, stray heroes dying to a surprise rocket spear — you name it, it happens.

Also — that Tesla farm by the Town Hall? Pure troll energy. It sometimes even baits a one-star.

Works like a charm, dragons fry your squishy stuff, Headhunters delete heroes.
Some folks run triple Furnaces instead, and it still holds up, but the splash from Super Dragon just feels nastier.

Bottom line?
Even maxed broom witches with perfect clone timing get wrecked because the base plays on their target priority and shoves them into a perfectly curated death pit.
It’s not just about stopping the three-star — it’s about making attackers regret their life choices halfway through the hit.
