Same like the main village's Hammer Jam event, the Builder Base Hammer Jam event cuts upgrade costs and upgrade times by 50%.

Yep. Half.

That means we can spam upgrades way faster than usual. Troops too. Even the Star Laboratory gets the boost.

There’s also:

• 4x Builder Base star bonus

• Extra event tasks

• Free rewards like Clock Tower Potions and Star Jars

For once, Builder Base feels juiced.

When does the Builder Hall Hammer Jam Event Start?

The Event lasts for a full 2 weeks.

• Start date: 17th May 2026
• End date: 31st May 2026

Why This Event Is HUGE for the 6th Builder

Let’s be real. Most of us only care about Builder Base because of B.O.B.

That 6th builder changes EVERYTHING in the Home Village grind.

And this event makes the annoying parts way easier. Especially hero upgrades. Those things normally take forever and lock us out of using the hero too.

Now? Much less pain.

If we’re below Builder Hall 9, rushing is honestly the play here. No point maxing every wall while the 6th builder is waiting at the finish line.

This is not the time for random upgrades.

We’d focus on:

• Hero upgrades

• Star Laboratory

• Key defenses

• Stuff needed for B.O.B Control

Basically, anything that gives long-term value.

This is where tons of players mess up.

Most people just pop Clock Tower Potions randomly during the day. Bad move.

The smarter play? Use them before logging off or before sleeping. That way upgrades finish while we’re away, and we can instantly start another one later instead of wasting hours.

Also, if we only have one builder in Builder Base still… get the second builder ASAP before going crazy with boosts.

The Best Troop to Spam During Hammer Jam

Baby Dragons.

Not even close.

They’re easy. Safe. Strong for farming. Strong for pushing. Strong for lazy attacks while eating snacks.

Honestly one of the few Builder Base troops that almost never feels bad to use.

If we don’t know what to upgrade first in the lab, Baby Dragons are probably the answer.

Should We Rush Builder Hall? Yep.

Builder Base is weird.

In Home Village, rushing can destroy progress if done badly. But in Builder Base? Rushing is actually smart most of the time.

Because higher Builder Halls unlock:

• More upgrades

• Better troops

• B.O.B progress

• Better efficiency overall

So during Hammer Jam, we’d absolutely push upward instead of sitting at low Builder Hall trying to “max properly.”

Nobody checking our Builder Base walls anyway.

Easy Loot Tricks Most Players Ignore

One easy trick before the event starts:

Don’t collect the star bonus the day before.

Because star bonuses stack for one extra day, we can start the event with TWO star bonuses ready instantly.

That’s free loot right at the start.

Also:

• Use Star Jars when busy IRL

• Save Runes for expensive upgrades

• Don’t waste raid medals carelessly

Simple stuff. Adds up fast.

The Secret Base Setup Top Pushers Use

This part is actually kinda smart.

Top Builder Base pushers stack their strongest defenses in Phase 1 instead of splitting them evenly in thier Builder Base Layouts.

Why?

Because attackers get more troops in Phase 2. So defending the first phase harder gives better overall defense results.

A lot of players still build both phases equally and wonder why they keep getting cooked.

Phase 1 matters more.

What NOT to Buy During the Event

We know the temptation.

But spending gems on Builder Base stuff during this event usually isn’t worth it. Especially if we already have the 6th builder unlocked.

Even raid medals should be used carefully.

Clock Tower Potions are fine sometimes. But dumping all medals into Builder Base just because the event looks shiny? Nah.

Ores still matter more for most players.

Quick Daily Routine for Max Progress

If we really want to squeeze value from this event, the daily routine is pretty simple:

1. Use Clock Tower early

2. Do star bonus attacks

3. Keep both builders busy

4. Upgrade heroes whenever possible

5. Farm with Baby Dragons

6. Log in before bed and queue upgrades

That alone is enough to make huge progress over two weeks.

And honestly, this is probably the first time in a while where grinding Builder Base actually feels rewarding instead of feeling like punishment from Supercell.
